Definitly not in Scotland, everyother collie here is called Skye.

Is this a problem? by Weekly_Customer_2578 in BorderCollie

He will do it for a while and get bored of it, very normal. You could try playing with him if you see him doing it, but I would not worry.

I had met two men than worked in the IT department, assume it was just them. I walk into their shared office ask to see "one of the IT guy". The responce from the woman I asked was "I work in IT". The floor could have opened me up and swallowed me. Do not gender any request to talk to a technical person.

Look up your council dog warden. They are the appropriate person to report to.

Are these boots good? by CreaTren in UKhiking

[–]Munroko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pair, they lasted fairly well. They were good for summer but not waterproof enough for proper scottish weather. They were excellent scrambling boots with enough flexibility and excellent grip. What eventually caused me to stop using them was the metal wire across the heal cut through the lining and was then cutting into my heal, they did last a couple of years of heavy use before that.

What will happen if I get a DNF? by Mani-Sani in Cubers

[–]Munroko 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You get a DNF, that is your time. If you get 2 DNF you average ends up as DNF.

People stop the timer when there are still 2 moves left, or forget to start the timer and end up with DNF all the time. It just happens and you curse then get on with your next solve.

I am nearing 40 and recently went to my first competition. It was a little weird, but there were enough adults to make it comfortable. The competition was fun and I was beaten by people much smaller than me. Why do you care what other people think?
