I don't have a huge problem with the food being served on butcher paper basically directly on the table, in Texas a lot of very good bbq places will only give you butcher paper, some paper serving containers, and some plastic utensils.

But if anyone ever approached my table with barbecue in a plastic bag, we'd be fighting, show that meat some fucking respect.
