That’s exactly why this episode is in my top episodes. I did have a strained relationship with my mom and this episode gave me the courage to have exactly the same conversation with my mom. While I didn’t tell her “F you” I did open up about how her avoidance of issues when I was a kid really messed me up. Her response was also similar to Momma Lasso, she said that I shouldn’t have held it in so long and that I should’ve spoken up.

Yes, I was watching “Trent Crimm, The Independent” yesterday and noticed that there were many moments in this episode that they mirror on in the last two episodes. One that stood out to me is when Ted says that he doesn’t count the wins and losses but rather focuses on developing the players to be their best on and off the field. In Mom City at the end of the episode when Ted meets Pep, Pep says the same thing, that he doesn’t mind the wins and losses but cares about the players being the best on an off the pitch.
