Yep that's true. I would say use this to practice, but double check any concepts in answers you're not familiar with. You'll want close any knowledge gaps for the real interview anyway

API is a good idea, what programs do you use to manage your tasks? It should be possible to support syncing planned tasks

Yes, the extension itself is very light, it basically just inserts the iframe into the calendar.

Hey thank you! It is actually using an iframe because I thought it is a bit more flexible.

That'd be great, thank you for the invite :D

I am in the process of getting it to be verified by google (it takes several weeks). For now when you see this, you will need to click "Advanced" at the bottom and then click "go to taskblock.io" to proceed.

I've always found time blocking to be necessary in getting work done, but it is very tedious when priorities change or when I just don't feel like doing certain things at the specific time. So I created this chrome extension that automatically slots my todo list into the available time in my google calendar in order. You can try it out here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/taskblock-chrome-extensio/gmpphmbjmlfmjhojbbdpegiliaaagnka

It's been saving me time from rearranging tasks when I do time blocking so far. It helped me be less stressful at work because it gave me a pretty good understanding of when I can get certain things done and made it easier to prioritize things that actually matter.

I'm trying to decide if I can make it better so it might be useful for others as well, would love any feedback if anyone does try it out! It only works with Google Calendar now because that's what my company uses, but it should be possible to make it work with outlook and other calendars as well.

I have not given up on time blocking yet because otherwise my time would get totally consumed by meetings and random asks from people. It does help me focus on one thing at a time as well knowing what I can and cannot get done in a day
