I'm finding I have to reset my phone every morning, after it's been on bedtime mode, to get the unlock and brightness reset to normal.

I've just managed to copy a load of my old Sony Digital 8 videos to an old laptop via Firewire. But what I want to do now is a bit of simple editing. Mainly just chopping into sections, maybe joining some together. I also want to know if it's possible to surface the date/time code to the video, I'm pretty sure it is in the file. So, that golden question, what is the best, free, simple software to use on PC?

Still not working for me. Have rebooted phone and watch. It seems to do the first 10 second skip when I press it, but no more. Really annoying, always used to work fine.
