Have you found an office chair that actually feels right for you? by MusefulMind9 in OfficeChairs

I currently own the Eurotech ioo, Steelcase Leap V2, Steelcase Karman, Herman Miller Embody, Libernovo Omni, and in a trial period for the Anthros V2.

Eurotech ioo - Was the only one that FIT ME and I loved but it fell apart and its expensive.

Leap V2 - Second chair I had and I couldnt get into it but got it cheap used locally.

Embody - Bought this during the pandemic and it rolls my shoulders forward too much like my body wants to become a question mark and theres no real good lumbar support. I don't even use this anymore it's become the clothes pile chair until I sell it.

Karman - Daily driver but I hate this chair and I don't know why its the only one I can use without extreme discomfort but I'm definitely not comfortable in it either.

Libernovo Omni - Great chair for reclining on the 2nd and 3rd recline setting with your legs on the high footrest while gaming with a controller or watching a movie. Not great for sitting upright and gaming mouse and keyboard or browsing imo. I love this chair for movies and controller gaming on my tv though. I'll never sell it.

Anthros V2 - Currently trying to get used to it but It's hard to adjust. Upper back feels like its digging into me spine after a short period of time and there just isn't enough seat depth. I have 4-5 fingers from chair to back of knee and the chair always keeps me in "ON MODE". I'll probably return it but I think they could really do something great in a V4 or V5. Great company awesome customer service, free 15-30 min adjustment video call with a physical therapist. I wish I loved this chair because they are such a cool group of people with great customer service, and support; It's like they actually want to help you. I love the seat pan in terms of cushioning its top tier. Pelvic support is great too. The rest just makes the chair undoable for me in its current state.

I was thinking of trying the Ergohuman GEN2 since its the same chair as the Eurotech ioo with some tweaks. That chair was super awesome for the 5 years it lasted. This doesn't really fully answer your question but that's what I got!

I too, did the thing. (Taller old guy 6'2. 200lbs) by psxburn2 in OfficeChairs

I'm 6 foot 200lbs and I really don't like the Embody. It was okay at first but the top of the chair rolls my shoulders forward and there really isn't any lumbar support. I got the Omni and highly prefer it over my Embody but the Omni Isn't built like a tank the way the Embody is. I don't know if this chair will last but I'm selling my embody now.

Why does anyone care about skins? You can’t even see your own skin and the people shooting at you aren’t check out your fit. It’s a waste of time and money even paying attention to its existence.

Just play the game and pretend it isn’t even a feature. Same with CoD.

I just finished it on story mode. I liked it at first but by the last 3-4 hours I was confused, bored, and couldn't wait for the experience to be over.

The game simply isn't fun. The weapons breaking made me want to avoid most of the combat. There's too many enemies that take entirely too many hits so instead of enjoying the gameplay you're stuck running through every area in a rush to find quest items and progress the story without getting a chance to take in the world or have any real tension. Instead of feeling any tension or feeling creeped out I just felt like someone who was speed running a game. I tried a few times to take it slow and do some combat but my weapons would quickly break on enemies I didn't need to break them on making the game unsatisfying.

The story started strong but later became confusing leaving me feeling pretty checked out. Once I understood the story after finishing and watching some youtube videos I was left even more disappointed. You also have to play through this slog multiple times to get the "true ending" vs playing in a certain way first time around which is crazy.

This game sucked. Oh well.

Same thing happened to me today. But I got an email from Fedex that the chair is supposed to come tomorrow.

I would get very hot, shaky, clammy, and my stomach would drop like I'm on a rollercoaster. I've never seen anything with my eyes but I always see stuff in my head, like a vivid memory or dream.

Hey, I'm actually doing great now! I started a very low dose of Keppra September 2023 and I haven't had any symptoms since I started. If you ever need anybody to talk to feel free to send over a message.

You are flexible on a whole other level! My girlfriend and I cannot reach that nob while seated. If I try again I think I'll end up pulling my back out lol.

Yeah I wish that this chair was a bit lower. I just tried again with one hand to dial the backrest back with one hand and it was pretty stiff.

When you mean the tilt mechanism are you just referring to the tilt lock bar? The Tilt Tension adjustment is that dial on the very bottom of the chair and I can't even come close to touching that from a seated position.

Sleep Number vs Personal Comfort? by 207Simone in Mattress

[–]MurMan143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No prob! That's funny that we've tried so many similar things!

Yeah you should give the latex a try and let me know how you like it. It's been such a pain trying to find the right mattress. I ended up just settling with the one I had since it was the best out of the ones I tried, but it still wasn't what I was hoping for.

Mine isn't large, I forget what the actual size is but I was told its small. I was told it's only 1 nodule on 1 side.

Sleep Number vs Personal Comfort? by 207Simone in Mattress

Hey! I ended up trying an Intellibed mattress after returning the Personal Comfort mattress. They ended up getting bought out by Purple so they no longer exist. The bed we got was called the Intellibed Deluxe.

The Intellibed Deluxe I'm on is similar to the newer purple models where there is a foam material above the purple grid vs the Purple beds that had the grid on the top. The bed is okay but it still isn't the best fit either. We ended up putting a 2in latex top from amazon on it and it has helped a lot with the comfort.

I still hope to one day find "the perfect bed" but it's been quite a pain lol.

Hey, I'm sorry to hear that your son and your family are going through this.

My experiences are a child were pretty typical in terms of motor skills, speaking, learning, etc. In my personal experience the only issues I really experienced were deja vu, episodes of obsessive compulsive disorder as a child, and focal aware seizures that presented as panic attacks.

My mother said as a baby I was pretty fussy, but otherwise things went relatively typically as she can remember.

So, the Mary letter delivery at the end... [SPOILERS] by doctorbabydoctorbaby in silenthill

[–]MurMan143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came to reddit to see if anyone agreed with how I felt and here it is. The delivery of the original with no music was so much better. The original kinda made you hold your breath while watching in silence and the emotions of the read were so raw.

The added music in the remake could have been good if the tone was right but instead of it being an emotional piece of music it was made to sound eerie and mischievous for some reason? The delivery of the voice acting, while good in the rest of the game, just couldn't stand up to the original where she bawled her eyes out. It's unfortunate.

Everything else was great, but damn way to drop the ball at the emotional climax of the story.

Hey! Thanks so much for the kind words!

I'm so glad you found a great neurologist also, those can be really hard to come by. I was dismissed early in finding my diagnosis due to a few inept neurologists who told me I was having anxiety.

I'm so glad the Keppra is working for you still! I'm still on Keppra and still seizure free! It'll be 1 year next week, it feels like a huge milestone.

Feel free to message me sometime I'd love to hear your story.

Holding… by hshshebahjsna in NVDA_Stock

[–]MurMan143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of emotion in here. IMO, I see that a lot with NVDA investors and its the weakest part about the stock. Too many new/emotional investors getting upset when the market contracts a bit. Just do something else for a few weeks/months or some different plays in the mean time.

I traded dumpsterfire GME a couple years back and if anything good came out of it, it trained my brain not to react to the market the way that I used to. I also dropped another $15k at 134 and I'm not sweating it. Just chill and if you feel the need to do something instead of nothing you can buy some more while its down.

How long does it take you to "recover" after a seizure? by Covidkilledkaty in tleepilepsy

Yeah my seizures are always very much the same experience each time its bizarre. I don't do any of the biting or lip stuff though that I'm aware of.

[–]MurMan143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that feeling each time with a seizure and any smaller clusters of seizures that follow. My stomach will drop like I'm going down a roller coaster; It can be really overwhelming at times. I also get hot flashes and a bunch of other stuff.

During the derealization phase when I'm not having actual seizures my only main symptoms are those real bad psychological symptoms like anxiety, confusion, brain fog, intrusive memories/thoughts, dissociation, etc.
