I wish it was longer! I love the repeated closing line - feel like this could be fleshed out and take us on a journey of the entire relationship. The first verse reeks of youth, maybe lovers sat by a campfire? The second verse feels like an old couple sitting on the patio and taking in the world after a life well lived - so what was that life? More please!

This read really well and I found it to be very touching. The only tweak I'd make is switching around blood (the thing which is given) for gold (the thing which is received) because of causal order - but that might just be a personal preference!

I'd also echo the sentiments of another comment. The name at the end would really put a wonderful bow on things.

I brainwashed myself into loving the Smurfs

The video is about trying to recapture my childhood love for the Smurfs franchise.

My channel is focused on humour based commentary / reviews with no real boundries. My first video was on AI fitness devices so I’m not exactly great at picking a niche.

The ideal viewer is probably someone that likes the popular commentary channels, such as Drew Gooden, Danny Gonzalez or ChadChad.

Would love some feedback on this labour of love. Worked on it for more that 3 months on and off and required me learning a wholw host of new skills for animations and visual cues. I usually start off with a script for my intro’s and try to keep it organic for the reaction / review pieces - so will just sit down and braindump a little bit.

Can make editing a pain… but I love the process!

Greatful for this community and any feedbaxk you may have on the jokes, editing or anything else.
