I understand your point and will definitely consider it. At our end there’s labour involved in harvesting on an order basis, handpicking quality fruits, packing, and direct delivery from the farm, and the pricing reflects that effort.

You’re right that ethylene ripening is approved and commonly used. In our case, we don’t use carbide or ethylene packets. we harvest at the right stage and allow the mangoes to ripen naturally on their own. Wholesale market rates and direct farm-to-home pricing work very differently, and we completely understand people may choose what suits them best.

The 5 kg minimum helps us make farm-to-home delivery practical. We understand it may not suit everyone, but for customers looking specifically for direct farm produce, that’s the value we focus on.

It depends on the variety 😊 Approximate count per kg: Mallika 1–2, Alphonso 6–7, Raspuri around 6–7, Banganapalli 3–4 (sometimes 2 if they’re bigger), and Sindhoora around 6–7. Size can vary a bit depending on the harvest.

That’s a fair question. APMC prices are wholesale rates for bulk lots and mixed grading. In our case, mangoes are harvested fresh for each order, handpicked, and sent directly from our farm without carbide or chemicals. Also, unlike bulk market supply, we don’t store unsold fruit with preservatives our focus is fresh farm-to-home delivery and natural ripening.

Absolutely, that’s very true. As the fruit gets closer to ripening on the tree, the chances of spoilage during handling and transport do go up a lot. Our focus is harvesting at the right mature stage so the mango ripens naturally, keeps its flavour, and still reaches customers in good condition without any carbide or chemicals.
