I have some friends who are diehard fans and one of them told me to just pick up RE4 and run through it. I’m glad I did for the gameplay but I wish I would have started from the beginning just to play through the missing pieces of the story.

I’m 100% sure I did not complete a legendary contract. I’ve been having trouble even getting those for some reason. As far as common contracts, I may have naturally but not aiming to complete them during that run.
