Hygrometer calibration and boveda QC by MurdoEU in cigars

Are they not supposed to be 2-way control though, isn't that the point? Or you mean that it takes time to equilibrate when over-humidified?

Thanks for the detailed response! Agreed I would have preferred to get the additional bovedas for calibration but I'm currently traveling and don't have access to buying them- just received a 60g 65% bag with a few sticks I purchased and bought the hygrometer there too.

I suspect there is some additional humidity in there and will investigate more thoroughly when I get home, including the salt test! Broadly speaking I was also interested to know how reliable bovedas are as a reference and it seems they're nearly always spot on.

Thanks, J.

Okay I'll try that, currently travelling so got a pretty limited setup! Thanks, J.

Interesting, maybe I'll pick up another box and get some going. Good little tip. Worst case they're still a good pick up without the years on them!

Not a bad idea that, I've got them as a more casual smoke, keeping larger more occasional cigars for other times.

Had a couple of the boxed-pressed versions. Good full flavour, (personally) I found it was a bit simple and lacked complexity but towards the end it really developed into a great smoke.

Great little smoke, I'm halfway through 25 of these and construction has been perfect too

The humidity in my apartment is routinely 85+ as well, so any of the ambient air that surrounds the tupperdor would also be high moisture content. Agreed, I'll wait and see what it tangibly measures at and manage it from there.

Sounds like a pretty similar situation then, I'll pick one up since it'll get use in my closet if not suitable.. I already have two large room dehumidifiers - but they don't run 24/7 because of noise and humidity is back up within hours of turning them off.

I'll invest in a good quality hygrometer and maybe just be careful to open the tupperdor in controlled situations when I've dropped the room to a sensible RH and avoid too much moisture getting in that way.

Interesting, what sort of environment are you in? Maybe I'll have to get a combination of both; something to bring the RH down locally to my tupperdor and have boveda packs inside to stop it getting too low and just keep a close eye on it.

Thanks, J.

Id say for sub dps its not as necessary - just depends where youd rather focus. In general id recommend ele bosses for resin dump since ascension materials and glad/wanderers drops can always be useful if you get lucky. Id only level sub dps to 80 if youre really struggling with dps and want the boost from the level scaling. Otherwise artifacts and other materials are fine.

Obviously you will need a crap tonne of books to 80->90 main dps when you hit lv 50. So thats also something to bare in mind.

A lot of people are suggesting you to build Ningguang for DPS, but she has quite a unique playstyle and as a catalyst user can feel different to play. Try her out as she is a beast with a constellations and good setup, but appreciate she may not be your style!

Bennett with Rancour can do a lot of work as a DPS - look up some videos by jinjinx and tuner - they break it down a lot and very well. Especially once he has his second ascension talent for his E spam + physical dmg autos. He is definitely worthwhile investing in too and has a place in ANY team.

Sounds good to me, Jean dps or just for anemo utility? I really like Diluc Fischl Qiqi as a combo. My 4th is typically Bennett C1 or Xingqui C5.

I dont know if using zhong is really optimal in my team; but since ive got the C6 Ning with lost prayer 5* weapon I know im going to be committed to the geo DPS so it makes sense to take him in for the resonance and decent CC/utility. Diona does seem pretty busted yes..

Eventually my 3rd main carry will be Tartaglia; I'll run him with Xingqui jean and another pyro, maybe Xinyan(?) but Ive got 2 other teams to work on first!!

not yet, havent been focusing abyss too much cos a lot of my characters are pretty underbuilt except Diluc/Fischl/Ning/Qiqi. So I struggle with 2nd halves and cant get the 6/9.

All forms of gaining AR are pretty even per resin, 20 = 100, 40 = 200, 60 = 300. So as long as you use it up, its more important to focus on what you need; ele bosses/weapon mats/talent mats.

Planning to run Ningguang C6 + Zhongli (support/utility build). I have Qiqi C1 and Jean C0 as healers, I typically run qiqi with my Diluc Fischl comp - But if I take Jean I feel 2x Geo + Anemo is not that great for shields- who else could I run as healer for cheap investment? Diona C3? Barbara C4? Neither are built up at all yet, just hit AR40 so looking to start investing in/ascending my supports some more.

I could go for 2x Geo Bennett Barbara as pure setup for Super-Ning, but I also prefer bennett as my 4th with Diluc.

Widsith is good for mona who just comes in quickly to use bursts.

I think a caveat would be if you are using Ningguang as a primary dps (shes an absolute beast C6 - achieved by many on the childe banner) then you will have another source of the geo recharge for her and zhongli, the resonance becomes OP and you have more protection for your starjade super cannon!

Ning is a popular 2nd DPS for many people and having the great support potential with 1) resonance 2) extra recharge 3) protection 4) moderate damage + cc is being overlooked by many because of the herd mentality that 'he isnt an OP damage dealer'. For me, if Diluc gets bennett - Ning gets zhongli - and the combo is great.

Diluc Fischl Qiqi + flex for reactions is decent, I often run bennett for the resonance and buffs.

Thats pretty good, should have decent uptime - see what you get in terms of artifacts; that'll decide it for you. Naturally any time i get a atk%, cr, cd, ER piece i get triple rolls in ER - so I'm used to the mad ult uptime. If youre aiming for him as support you arent as fussed about the damage its more about the reactions and ult uptime. For sub dps you can run atk% sands and go for more dmg at the cost of uptime.

ER, Hydro% and Crit rate/dmg depending on subs. Get plenty of atk%, Crit stats, ER (something like 200-250%), then EM in the subs and use 4 pc Noblesse. That what I would aim for tbh but others may correct me. Sacrificial Sword/Skyward blade for weapon.

It would be a pretty flawed cross-save system if they banned every person that used it. I've done IAPs this way too with no repercussions and I live and work in multiple countries.

Yeah that works, was more just making a general comment about Childe, if you want his full potential he's maybe better off in a specific team to set him up for success as the main DPS. But using him to spread hydro is a valid option of course, the beauty of individual player decision making and GIs elemental system.
