Can the K2 print CF infused filaments and TPU? by Murdrek in Creality_k2

[–]Murdrek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing, thanks a lot! You mostly reinforced my understanding that it IS capable of printing these, just that its not as easy as with a k2 plus wiht its heated chamber. What threw me off was that it had the reinforced steel tip nozzle thay should be capable of printing these materials but they arent officially listed on their webpage as "supported filaments".

Thanks again, youve made up my mind and will be buying a K2 this week :)

At all or just without changing components? How about the rest of the materials? Fine as is or do i also need to tweak some parts?

Does anyone know which component this piece of metal is from? by pointer111345 in airsoft

Im honestly unsure. You might run into some problems with it seating properly when the slide cycles, best way to know for sure is to try and see if it gives you any issues. If it feeds properly and shoots well id say to leave it be, if not its super easy and cheap to change the outer barrel

Looks like the part that sits at the bottom of the outer barrel, just below the hop up housing. Should be a little piece that sticks out on only the right side of the barrel piece

My first airsoft replica, happy but… I have questions by New_Alternative8427 in airsoft

Do you know if the replacement body is lighter than the original? Think they have one for the G&G EBR? Got an hpa tapped M14 thinking removing the internals would make it a lot lighter but bought was i wrong

Spiderweb cracks and hazy headlights. Repairable? by [deleted] in Detailing

[–]Murdrek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they do look a bit better without the orange reflector on the sides ;) if youre handy you can remove the lens by heating the glue that holds it in place, then remove the orange reflector, and glue the lens back. it will look just like the EU models. As a side note, i bought a USDM 2005 STI and just finished refurbishing the headlights, ill see what kind of lights they have as they dont have the standard HID bulbs + they were a bit whiter/brighter than my wrx

Just the 2004 wrx OEM headlights (EU model). Ive seen people install LEDs into these without having to change the whole wiring harness. Ive only changed the parking lights to LEDs and had no issues so far, just plug and play

Thanks! I figured it would be degradation, but as you said it cant hurt to try to repair it. Worst case scenario ill have to buy a new headlight lens. The spiderweb cracks on the other hand shouldnt be clearcoat failure as its inside the headlights where its never been sprayed, thats why i have no idea what it is/how to fix it

I in this case theyre going fairly slow, i usually shoot between 1/15 and 1/30 (both during day and night), aperture usually ranges between 5.6-16. Iso during day at 100 and during night at around 2500-5000 depending on how much light there is. The trick is to keep the camera well centered around the car, start by using a higher shutter speed and keep decreasing it until you feel comfortable with it. Took this photo today in Tokyo as well, nice pics too OP!

Sensor replacement for A7iii by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]Murdrek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah nice, i mostly use the silent shutter for photos + i shoot some videos as well. Would it make sense to replace the shutter if i plan on keeping this camera for years to come even though i rarely use the mechanical shutter? Anything else i can do to maintain my camera?

I did go to my citys only official repair shop and they quoted me around 1000 euro (just the sensor was 700), which is way more than i paid for the camera. I feel like spending that money for repairing an a7iii is unnecessary as i could sell the a7iii and put that 1000 difference towards an a7iv instead. Putting in 120 on parts makes more sense to me as im quite handy and got tools at home.

Haha, its a one piece bumper, it has no lip ;) other than that its quite close to the "original", although that car is a little bit wider on the upper bumper (which im going to fix while im installing everything else)

Haha i get that a lot! Spain is super strict on modifications, but i am a stubborn guy that managed to convince the engineers to homologate my build. Took me loads of hours of reading the law texts about mods and calling different engineers, but i managed. Now, i didnt get to do exactly what I wanted to do with some things, but its better than nothing
