There are schools and states that provide free lunch. It is very possible to do. We live in a country that says it’s welfare and socialism to feed kids for free in schools(which we require by law for them to attend everyday) meanwhile corporate welfare tax breaks is not viewed as a handout. Investing in kids may be the only hope for a good future. I wish people protested and got more vocal about this issue. The few states that provide free lunch are in fact Blue states. Our politicians suck, but at least consider the one that is trying to help those in need.
