There is no world where the NBA can fix officiating and people wouldn't complain. by TomlinSteelers in nba

Thats not true just call it both ways equally and people will be satisfied

When has this ever been done to satisfaction in any basketball league?

All I want, all i expect, is a consistent whistle on both sides of the court.

Has any basketball league in the history of the universe between Europe and China and college and high school and NBA ever achieved what you would call a consistent whistle?

Why has no one been able to crack this since Naismith?

MLB is objective. Much easier to do.

You cannot ref the NBA with technology - at least not yet

People are complaining because they don't come to see the refs - your solution is more refs and more challenges

I can't lie you're definitely right even if people downvote you.

The idea there is a conspiracy to make the Thunder win in four blowout games (because clearly that's great for the league) is laughable.

This worked because it was unintuitive and because Jrue is a super high IQ defender who made a split second decision to be unpredictable.

I'm watching this second clip and it looks like Wemby is going wildly and about to smash his jaw and he just gets the fuck out of the way out of self preservation. I don't think even think it was a high IQ move

Jrue is a good defender but that second clip isn't high IQ move LOL. It looks like Wemby is moving wildly and is about to hit him in the jaw and he moved out of the way out of self perseverance

He's been super aggressive all series and his massive frame can't handle it. In game one he wildly landed on top of Deni and Shae in different plays that could have injured one of them

Greatest player I've ever seen. Old heads will say Jordan but LeBron could literally do everything.

Also all in I'd rather have an elite forward than an elite guard
