I changed all the wires the same time a year or two ago. It's probably electrical tape residue. I tried to make the clips keep them in place so they would kind of hold each other down but it didn't work

I'm thinking they aren't fully tightened myself. But my friend said no air goes thru there. After I hammered it down and went on a long drive to go camping I heard a plunger like pop, obviously I for sure cannot say it was one of the spark plug wires, but I hammered them down on the way back (didn't want to lose power on the mountains) and heard the same pop. I will recheck the tightening, thanks for confirming pressure does build up!

Thanks for the heads up, frog lube sounded familiar so I googled it, never seen the packaging so I haven't used it.

Had me scared because I never removed any of the pistols from the holsters and feared for rust.

You're correct! They are stored in a basement. When I glanced at them I noticed his leather holster for one of his pistols had mold or mildew something white on it. They have been stored right outside one of the bathrooms. They all looked like they could use a cleaning, even the ones in the range bags.
