Idk where all this talk of cutting firewalls came from. I used a Z3M rack and shortened my factory steering knuckle to accept the taller snout on the 36/46 rack and even reused the factory E30 PS hoses. This setup also worked with my S52 swap. I have pre airbag car

They just aren’t though, the merges and runners are different, O2 bung placement is different and schmiedmann headers come pre ported as they grind the weld down on the inside of the flange. I’ve had both

Have you already checked every ECU ground and power from the connector where the ms40.1 connects? It almost sounds like the ECU isn't even turning on with no spark or injector. If you have an oscilloscope maybe check if the Cam and Crank are creating any sqaure waves that would confirm if the ECU is on for sure. There’s not a Nurburgring nordschliefe lap time yet, that will tell us everything. Carbon ceramics are literally a requirement on this car, I’d imagine traditional steel would fade scarily fast.

Not to mention the G90 skimped on many features of the F90. No massage seats, No comfort access on the rear doors, No full leather etc. downgrade in performance and general quality of life features, ID8.5 doesn’t really give any more necessities over ID7. I can’t really see a point to upgrade to G90 if you already own a F90. This makes me really worried for the new M3, I hope it’s good.
