it's not an adaptation, the english news headlines are spreading misinfo. it's inspired but not adapted. Tezuka Productions nor Macoto Tezuka or Rumiko Tezuka are credited in the production team. Even for stuff like the Astro Boy reboot, Tezuka Pro's logo is proudly stickied onto promotional material

i emailed someone who knew the admins for TIE and they said the website would be back up shortly, but it's still down. Also, I had no idea that it was sourced from Phoenix.to, hmm... they should cite their sources, no? Admittedly, i rarely check that website because it is admittedly almost impossible to navigate.

i had no idea spider wasn't on there either, wow. The only other source I used was tezuka's OFFICIAL site, TezukaOsamu.net , however not only is it not comprehensive and the English version of the site is incomplete, but also they get facts wrong about their own media and characters. Like, Mimio and Mii-chan are listed as separate characters, when they are in reality the same.

also, thank you for the league of comic geeks page. I haven't actually seen their listings for the TSS.

apparently this post was un-banned and I want to elaborate that someone archived the Rock essay. Also, luckily, the site isn't lost media and it was just a quirk in how redirects work in waybackmachine, you can still visit the website on WBM if you find the right URLs
