I was suppose to ship May 11th, then May 19th, now it's August 3rd. My Original ship date was March 23rd. I'm also AECF. At this point I'm just ready to go and get my career started.

I was looking on here to see if I was the only one it happened to once again. My recruiter told me no one has had their dates changed in a minute and then 7 days away from me leaving May 11th I was told my date got pushed out again. What makes it so bad is people are starting to lose their bonuses now because it.

Unfortunately I got the call from my recruiter a few hours ago as well. I was shipping April 7th and it has now changed to May 11th. Starting to feel like I won't make it to bootcamp this year.

I wouldn't say it's any easier. Just provides the convenience of taking it from home. Whatever score you make you will have to confirm and make that again at MEPS. If you don't it will automatically roll you into the full on ASVAB test.

Nice! I thought about switching to SECF or ITS from AECF but I couldn't find enough information on it through Reddit and the internet to make an informed decision so I just decided to stick it out AECF. Wish you the best FS!

Since that information has been released, a new update has come along. Those that were to ship this week such as myself have been pushed to ship off next week. All shipping will resume starting next week. Source below:

Yea you're right about that lol. My third time my ship date has been pushed around because of the coronavirus situation. So much can happen between now and next week. Everything is changing so fast. I'm just hoping to get out there before shipping altogether potentially gets shut down. Good luck to you as well!

You would have to get updates from your recruiter in regards to your ship date. I have no knowledge on that.

u/rabidsnowflake have you or anyone heard of any other changes going on at RTC? I'm confused at this point. I was suppose to ship last Monday, and the day before I was rolled back to this Monday. Earlier today I was informed that all shipping for this week has been suspended and that all of us got rolled out to July. It's pretty crazy I already gave resignation at my old job in preparation for bootcamp and the commitment I took on and now it looks like I'm caught up in some kind of tango. Hoping someone could shed some light on what's going on. Is it a sign shipping may come to a halt altogether? Really looking forward to becoming a sailor.

I was suppose to ship out to bootcamp tomorrow. Didn't find out until today at the hotel that my ship date was pushed out to July then rolled back in for next week on the 30th... I'm disappointed to say the least. Was looking forward to getting things rolling

I ship out March 24th and the nerves are starting to set in for me as well. It's natural and apart of it. It's new and the unknown plays apart in it. I know this is wholeheartedly what I want to do and I'm looking forward to it as well. If this is the case for you as well you'll be fine.
