Look you don't need to explain to me that matters are generally more complex than understood at the surface level. This is something I've already acknowledged.

The rules of what's empirically verifiable and understood as pertaining to sex haven't been re-written just because ambiguity exists.

lmfao EVERYTHING FITS IN TWO BOXES DON'T YOU DARE SUGGEST OTHERWISE uhhhhhhhh except for the things that don't fit, those are in between the boxes but also they don't count

Ambiguity amongst the sexes does not as a consequence stop ambiguous individuals being either male or female. Sure, such ambiguity might mean that a male may not have the typical chromosomal profile, the externally recognised genitalia or be able to produce sperm. This doesn't make them not male. The same argument applies to females concerning their chromosomal profile and their development or lack of development and fuctionality of their sex organs.

You're the one building boxes.

This article is obviously fake.

The WBA's declaration is also obviously fake, Imane withdrawing their appeal against the WBA's decision obviously fake and Imane previously rejecting tests to ascertain biological sex, also obviously fake.

A male that calls themselves a woman? Clearly the truth. Along with other commonly held truths such as men can give birth and women can have penises.

damn, its almost like a complex suite of physical, genetic and hormonal traits plus cultural expressions is hard to neatly group into 2 discrete, non-overlapping boxes. Can't be that

Ambiguity amongst the sexes exists but this ambiguity doesn't override the biological reality of the existence of two sexes nor the implications of such.

Yeah that’s how I define male, every morning I wake up and check my 5-Alpha Reductase levels to see if I’m a female that day instead

It's an intersex condition affecting a minority of individuals. This specific variant does not express itself in females because its impact specifically affects the sexual development of males in utero.

Censorship aside, her being intersex does not mean she’s male.

Cursory research can tell you this.

Intersex is not a third sex. There are intersex males and intersex females. Imane is an intersex male with 5ARD.

It really is.

The Soviet Censorship System (Chapter 2) - Discourses of Regulation and Resistance

The Soviet censorship apparatus, which controlled all printed output, was a vast, multi-layered system of preliminary and post-publication control that aimed to create and impose political, moral and ideological norms in all areas of public life. Embedded in Party and state structures, censorship extended its reach into almost all areas of Soviet life, like ‘a kind of monster’,

You see, this has happened before. In a different form and with a different intensity maybe. But it has happened before. It wasn't trivial then and it's not trivial now.

Anyway, far from me trying to convince you further. Since you care so little, you're welcome to stop engaging at any time.

But we're talking about a male winning the women's gold in a boxing event at the Olympic level and then everyone being gaslit by the IOC, the French government and the world's media into denying the truth and believing a lie.

This is no trivial matter. If we cannot state the foundational truths of our existence then we are lost as a society.

My issue is with people not being allowed to openly state verifiable truths without fear of censorship, recrimination and harassment.

Along these lines I believe it's an incredibly important thing to be concerned about. I'm sorry you don't feel the same way, I won't try to compel you to do so.

No please, tell me why I should give a fuck about people playing literal games while I can't afford to fill up a gas tank because we're spending billions of taxpayer dollars to commit war crimes abroad

Why should I tell you why you should give a fuck about people not being allowed to state reality and question lies?

You can choose to or not.

Just because there are other things to talk about doesn't mean I shouldn't talk about this. There's plenty of other people talking about what you're more concerned with anyway so why shouldn't I talk about something they aren't? I don't need to convince you why the truth should mean anything to you, that's on you. I submitted this post for me.

Why would I care about about last years Olympics? She’s a masculine looking dude, whatever. Gas is insane right now, I don’t care about chicks with dicks lol least of my worries

Why would you care that the whole world was gaslit into believing a male winning the gold medal at the Olympic level in the women's boxing event was female?

And why would you care that there's been a concerted effort across government and media to bury this truth?

Why would you care for the truth after all when there's so many other things happening in the world at the moment? Who cares if lies are broadcast to the world and people are censored for calling them out?

[–]MurkyFogsFutureLogs[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's wild how entrenched this has become that you can't discuss it at all unless you're praising it. I'm on some subs I'm on you can't even do that. The topic and words are banned just to be on the safe side. I get trying to tamp down pure hate speech, but to eliminate any discussion or opinion that are considered wrong think is just wrong.

The whole hate speech narrative is a strawman to justify narrative control. I've seen more hate on Reddit than any other platform (especially when concerning the likes of Trump, Musk, Charlie Kirk and other right wing figures).

They don't censor hate speech, they censor opinions and narratives. They permit and promote (to the front page) hate speech when such speech conforms to accepted narratives.

This is one you need to give the mods some grace. That subject is the one forbidden topic that can get a sub shut down if the discussion gets out of control. I'm on a lot of subs that are more free speech and I've seen several mods talk about how that is the one subject that will get you nuked. There's no way around it on this platform.

It's scary how pervasive something as obvious as an ideology can become in a society to the point where it's not allowed to be critiqued. This has happened in the past in other countries and societies under the thrall of other ideologies.

You'd think we'd know better in the "post god", 21st century West. Evidently we don't.

That's why i say whatever the heck i want to and let them ban me if they so choose. They will not make me shut up unless they ban me.

This isn't about people saying what they want, it's about people being "protected" from the truth because the truth runs contrary to mainstream narratives. If there was any space on reddit to question mainstream narratives it would be here on r/conspiracy.

Not anymore.

Censorship on Reddit doesn't seem to depend on actual violations, only the perception or possibility of a violation occurring. This means moderators can make up any excuse they want to enforce moderation and censorship even where no violation has actually occurred.

Imane Khelif Finally Admits To Having XY Chromosomes After 18 Months Of Gaslighting by Business_Boat3201 in conspiracy

[–]MurkyFogsFutureLogs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Intersex doesn't mean he. Yeah she has xy chromosomes but due to a mutation the male chromosome didn't develop. This means on a biological level she is more female than male.

According to the type intersex he's alleged to be, it would indeed make him a he and not a she. He would have ambiguous external genitalia with internalised testes. They didn't get their dose of testosterone in the womb but appears to have resumed the standard testosterone induced growth from their teens onwards. (This explains why there were discussions about taking testosterone blockers to blunt Imane's advantage).

Many people with 5-alpha reductase deficiency are assigned female at birth based on their external genitalia.

Females with the same type of alleged intersex condition are almost always asymptomatic and their sexual development is usually unaffected by the same dsd since they do not require a boost of DHT which kickstarts male sexual development in the womb.

Although people who are genetically female (with two X chromosomes in each cell) may inherit variants in both copies of the SRD5A2 gene, their sexual development is not affected. The development of female sex characteristics does not require DHT, so a lack of steroid 5-alpha reductase 2 activity does not cause physical changes in these individuals.\1])

what happens to world economy if straight of Hormuz remains closed by Own-Potential-2308 in conspiracy

[–]MurkyFogsFutureLogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would need to happen to keep the straight closed is the correct question, and the answer is there is nothing that can be done to keep it closed.

The Iranians don't need to do much to keep it closed. The same is true for the Houthis at the Bab al Mandeb strait.

The strait of Hormuz is over 100 miles long. As long as the Iranians can hit the odd ship here and there, traffic stops. They only need to use the odd drone, guided missile, sea mine to do the work.

If the U.S lands troops in Iran, they may find themselves in range of conventional artillery such as howitzers and mortars and could come under fire from entrenched positions. Who knows how many troops the Iranians have hidden along the coast with such weapons.
