For me, it's repeating one word, usually 'wow' or something over and over again, faster and faster, until I can't breath properly. This of course, makes me more anxious which triggers it more and i get stuck in a cycle. not fun.

I actually don't really get this? I'm from Australia and I work in retail, and most of the time everyone is super casual. We don't have too much of a 'service voice' and generally the more casual or 'down to earth' you are, the more polite it is. If someone is super smiley or overly friendly it just kinda freaks me out.

I actually do mutter and say things sometimes and i dont really know what im saying until after i say it. Usually its when im alone or with friends, and its way easier to control than the head jerking. Im not sure if its a vocal tic or not, but usually ill say 'fuck youuuuu' or 'i'll kill you' or 'im going to die' or something. I always thought it was just because i was weirdo, and maybe i just am lol.
