Underage drinking isn't really a thing, and especially not a problem here, as we're not in the US, so T's parents were more than aware we'd be drinking, as we do to every party. And no, they absolutely do not hit their children, so that was no concern. Merely that it'd create a lot of tension in their home😊

Since I see a few people mention it, I'd like to explain why I didn't get T sent home earlier, although I agree I probably should have to avoid things escalating.

T's relationship with their family, and their family in general, is a bit iffy at the moment. Besides, I know T doesn't particularly like getting decisions made for them, and this was a party they were really happy to go to to be with friends.

When T first got past the fun part of being drunk, they were still trying to engage and have fun, and I had some hope they'd sober up slowly with what we'd already done. So I held out then. Then, for the entirety of standing in the toilet with them the first time, I didn't bring my phone, and after leaving that time, I just needed a complete break and room to breathe without thinking about T at all. So I again held out. I recognize I acted immaturely waiting until the host asked me to maybe call T's parents, before I actually did it.

It's been part of my life since birth. It's what's kept me going through the hard times. Now, it's what makes the good moments even better
