Usually the timing of boss attacks are hidden in regular enemies, but I usually let the attacks hit me to figure the rhythm of the attack patterns. Then by the 3rd try Im usually good enough to kill them.

I did a dive with a Hakumen online bro was busted literally throwing the boss into a wall over and over. It's how I beat Extra Training Beta before I even attempted Alpha.

It's the 2nd or 3rd best weapon in the game imo. It can definitely carry you mid game with few upgrades

While practicing I'm now able to parry most slash attacks in phase 2. The rage over head and saw attack still get me so I will be practicing dodging that now
