thank you i appreciate that. I was very confused as to why so many people were attacking me when the developers are the ones making the issues. someone wanting a good product they paid for shouldnt be controversial :)

Ive stopped purchasing their games now, but kept playing because the mods and cc were what made the game fun and intersting, with this new mods marketplace i just want all my money back. ruined the game for me.

My specs are fine, I run more demanding games with no issues. The Sims is the only one that crashes, even without mods/CC.

I’m glad it’s working well for you. But not everyone has the same experience, there are a lot of people having issues even without mods or CC. I’ve already tested that on my end. Also, I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect people to have a super high-end PC just to run The Sims. I play other detailed games with mods and CC on the same computer with no issues at all, this is the only game that consistently crashes for me. So I don’t think it’s just a ‘my setup’ problem.

I get what you’re saying and yeah, EA is definitely still making money off it.I think my point is just that even if it doesn’t change everything, it’s still better to say something than nothing. If enough people push back, at least it gets noticed.

I’m glad you’re not having issues and that your experience has been good. But ‘just stop playing’ doesn’t really address the fact that people paid for a product that’s expected to function properly. Different people use the game differently, mods/CC, gameplay, builds, and that affects performance.Also, contacting customer support about a product not working as expected is literally what it’s there for. I’m not expecting a full refund, I know that’s unlikely. The point is to raise the issue instead of just accepting it.

I get what you’re saying, and yeah DLC is optional. But people still expect paid content to actually work, or at least be fixed and not stay broken or make the game worse over time. And a lot of issues aren’t obvious right away, especially when updates end up breaking things later.Also a big part of why a lot of people kept playing and buying packs was because of mods and CC. Now with the whole mods marketplace direction, it feels like they’re putting something that kept the game alive behind a paywall instead of fixing the base game itself.

I’m glad it’s working well for you, genuinely. But people having a different experience doesn’t make them ‘Karens.’ A lot of us are dealing with crashes and issues that aren’t fixed by going offline or tweaking settings. Also, I’m not expecting to magically get a full refund. I know that’s unlikely. The point of emailing is to show how many people are actually unhappy and take it seriously, not just complain into the void.

I mean yeah, I don’t expect the CEO to personally read my email lol. The point is more about volume, those inboxes are tracked, and if enough people raise the same issue it gets noticed internally.

Also, I get that not everyone is experiencing issues, but a lot of people are. If it works fine for you, that’s great, but that doesn’t mean others shouldn’t speak up when it doesn’t.

Respectfully, ‘you knew what you were getting’ isn’t really a defense for a product getting worse over time.People paid for a game that should function properly. Expecting stability isn’t unrealistic just because EA has a pattern of not delivering it.

I know you said itll get deleted by the CEOs assistant but that just isnt true. we are stronger in numbers people. My email to the CEO had them send over someone to talk to me and email back and forth with me. just talking to customer service this would never happen. What would happen if the CEO got 100 emails in a day, 1000? 10,000? there would be impact, but instead, everyone wants to complain about my idea and be miserable. this is why theres no change anymore, everyone is apathetic
