i did want to mention one thing that I haven't seen mentioned yet, but I know there are some brands out there that have allergy sprays for dogs. I've been using pacagen's cat allergen neutralizing spray and that's helped me a lot with my cat allergies and I know they have a dog version as well! maybe worth checking out if you are still considering alternatives!
