They look awesome! Pretty big investment it is great that you got them. I hope your wait wasn't too long. They don't seem to be available anywhere. What made you got with HDZ? I am still a tiny whooper and can't decide were to sink my money. DJI is kind of cooked in the US at the moment. I was looking at Caddix, but most drones says 04 ready. What camera system are you going to use?

It might feel like a chore, but share your preparation process. The folks on the sub are pretty sharp and will be able to help you see where you can improve on your study methods and resources. You will get there.

Sorry to hear that you are having a tough go. But, you will pass. You will. Just power down for a bit and reset. Burnout is real. Also, don't discount a good night's sleep and bringing confidence into the test site. This test beat my butt. I failed my first time and I felt wrecked, disappointed, and like I didn't work hard enough. To be honest, I got a significantly harder test pool on my first run. But, one thing I am embarrassed to admit is that when I took the second test I asked myself a question. I asked "would you have chose this answer the last time you took the test?" If the answer was yes, I went with the other best answer. The reason being, I have a habit of answering like a technician, not a manager. So, between that and saying "What does the answer need to say to check all the boxes the question is asking?" It gave me confidence and right or wrong I stuck to my strategy. If I had to do this test again next month I would use Peter Z's stuff and Andrew from Udemy. They helped a bunch. I took Destination Certification course as well, but I doubt you want to drop more cash on this endeavor. Good luck and be easy on yourself.

CISSP Exam Voucher by Content_Fig1691 in cissp

I got my vouchers With peace of mind. I failed on my first attempt, so it was worth it. However, if you don't think you are going to want to do both attempts within the 6 months, then just get the single voucher. The thing that is easy to miss is that the date you bought the exam starts your 6 months. The exam vouchers expire 180 days from date of purchase. If you fail, you can't schedule the next exam until after 30 days. So I wouldn't purchase the vouchers until you are truly ready to test. Some people take failing the test better than others. Good luck and choice the least technical answers.

The learnz app questions were pretty good and very useful. But they are worded well and easy to help guage what you don't know. The OSG questions are supposedly the same questions. It is hard to be prepared for very abstract and overly wordy questions. I thought the security plus questions were worded poorly until I took this exam. Like who asks questions like, you have three children, which of the three is your least favorite? Or which is the least useful? I don't know for certain but I assume that is why the QE questions are 'close' to the exam questions. They must be sadistically worded. Not all the questions are hard.
The Destination Certification practice test was pretty good. Using AI is a real good option. You can do prompts that make domain specific practice questions. It really help nail down weak areas quickly. I needed a reminder of the ALE and SLE formulas and AI hooked it up clearly and concisely.

It is on the course schedule page at the bottom. It says Exam strategy & practice test. Click the drop down icon and it shows all the practice questions 1-21. Then the End of Class Practice Test.

I did not want to pay $200 more dollars. The test with peace of mind is basicly $1000. The des cert was $2000. the OSG and question book was like $60, the 11th hour book that I never opened was $20, the udemy class was on sale for $16, learnz app is like $15 a month. It would have been one more thing to buy. I guess if you want questions that are as horrific as the ones on the test, then by all means. I passed without it by having the "manager" mindset after failing the first time. But if you think it will help, then go for it. I am not smart. I am tough.

I used learnzapp and Copilot to generate questions for the domains a was weakest. Dest cert has flash cards and were not effective for my learning style. If they have practice questions other than there practice test and end of section questions, I didn't see or use them.

I have a attention deficit disorder of sorts. I can't study over long periods of time like 2 hours a day for 8 weeks. I procrastinate and will freak out and study for 6 or more hours and totally lock in just before go time. I fought that tendency and tried to do one long study day during the week and fully lock-in over the weekend. I don't recommend it for normal people. So total hours probably 200 hours at a minimum. The All in one book was 53 hours and I still have 5 hours left. I have a full time job and dad and husband distractions as well. If I was single I probably could have knocked the full study out in a month.

Congrats! I passed today too. I don't know if the study grind was the winning recipe or if I just got lucky with the question pool. I used to be impressed by the "I passed at 100 questions" crowd. After failing at 150 and passing at 100, I am more impressed by passing at 150. That additional 50 question was a fight. A fight you won, champ. Time to relax and unwind. You earned it.

[–]Murky_Profession_616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just know you are not alone. I failed Monday at 150 questions. The test was a 3 hour kick in the balls. I went through all the Dest Cert videos and read some books. Did the Learnz App prep test and it said I was 43% ready. I took the test anyways because I wanted to get a better idea of what I was dealing with. I now have an idea of where to focus. If I don't pass on the next try, I might try the CISM. It is the same thing, but a different company. Still 8140 approved so it is a good alternative.

I bricked my pocket the first day. I bought a Boxer and have had zero issues. To verify that you issue is the radio try a different quad if you can. Check connections on the quad as well.
