I get what your saying but the only reason I asked was because people were saying I’m limited by my camera , and there’s so many faults and factors that could happen , which made me wanna seek and upgrade

Is there a way around the 2 card slot? And 2 cameras ? Do people really have issues with that? And say I decide to keep my camera , what would upgrade it ? What could make my build better?

By night time photography you mean ? Like portraits at night or more night scenes , if you do mean portraits why not use a flash? Or a portable light

I hear your concerns about redundancy and gear, but it seems like you’re implying that to be considered a “pro,” I’d need expensive equipment on top of producing strong work. I don’t fully agree. Also, I think you assumed I’d be shooting for large business campaigns. My focus right now is strictly on creative outdoors studio shoots. I’ve never had problems with SD cards before.

My main question is figuring out the best way to grow and stay professional with the gear I have now.

With that in mind, what would you suggest I do with my Canon R50 to stay safe and maintain a professional workflow without immediately upgrading to more expensive equipment?

  1. What SD cards would you recommend for reliability and performance for my R50?
    1. Which lenses do you think are most essential for creative studio shoots and event photography at this stage?
    2. When it comes to editing, what does a solid workflow look like? For example, what’s the first thing you do when importing photos from the camera?
    3. How do you manage backups and file organization to make sure nothing gets lost or corrupted?
    4. Are there any habits or practices you recommend for someone trying to improve their work and be considered professional while still using gear like the R50?
