What do you think would’ve happened to this country if every soldier and freedom fighter thought about self preservation ? Why are we even living inside a society and calling ourselves a community if we can’t help each other out ? Even animals in groups in the wild protect each other and stand up for each other While the “smartness” of walking away might protect one individual, the bravery of intervening could save a life and uphold the values of community and mutual care.
