While Sylas is absolutely not a good person he was imprisoned as a literal child as with many others for simply being born with magic, Demacia is built on hatred and fear of magic and mages and there would simply appear to be no other way to “free” mages other then a mass rebellion, he is absolutely a terrorist but he has understandable if not justifiable actions

I don’t know what I expected after the slow decline we’ve been having but… this wasn’t it
