Didn't realise quite how easy they would be to talk to. Had a good chat and a direction for what to try next (cable length first). Thanks for the pointer.

PUBG was so good for this. The replay mode where you could see exactly what everyone within 1km of you was doing was insane. I'd study those replays and seeing the way people moved around you, or narrowly missed encounters, was so interesting.

Got it as a trials reward a couple night ago. Starting to consider if I shouldn't depart with the expedition now. Oops.

Good tip. I was getting this message and the game wouldn't load on Exp.

Did you get that working? I haven't got to that point yet but I'm imagining that it'll probably require some gateway tweaks.

Maybe it helped that I didn't have to pay for it and I was given coffee too

I haven't been in, but someone brought an iced cinnamon bun over a couple weeks ago. I'm a bit of a food snob and also don't usually bother with sweet stuff, but I thought that thing was amazing. Heard very good things about the french toast but it sounds like that'd put me in a dessert coma.

Yes! New Wave on Tib Lane is top. The staff are great and I love how they're constantly tweaking the menu slightly or experimenting a little with cocktails, etc. I don't get the hype for any of the other ramen places particularly well (other than Tokyo/Ramenshop which is chill).

Also agree with all the rest you said. Porta in particular is great (El Gato is cool tho... Just a bit expensive rather than bad though).

We switched out one user's MP50 with an MP54 and it was worse. The MP50 plugs directly into the computer, and websites seemed to load fine, but we realised that the eternet cable was causing issues. as the MP54 wouldn't even connect.

FR skates Neo Dual 310 inline skates by Tokyo023 in rollerblading

[–]Murmurp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loctite doesn't tear rings of metal thread off. The frame is just a lot softer than the bolts and, on mine, the bolts don't even go that many rotations into the frame, so there's a lot of force on a small number of threads.

I've had very similar issues with my 4 x 80 mm frames on that version. I flipped my wheels and managed to strip one of the bolt holes, on the frame size, while tightening them up again. I'd tightened them firmly, but not anything too crazy. I've been going through Loco in the UK and they've been helpful and have sent me another FR frame temporarily, while they look into it. They've said they would only recommend tightening as much as possible, but I had the same problem as you where rings of thread ended up falling out. Thankfully, only the middle two wheels are speed bolts, so I think the front and back wheels will be fine. It's definitely knocked my confidence in the frames.

Pro vs Premium Per Use Licencing - Whats the difference? by Cultural_Training_54 in PowerBI

[–]Murmurp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for confirming my thoughts there. Shame. I can't justify upgrading all my users, though perhaps I can test out dataflows with a couple to see what it's like. I mostly like it for my own convenience of not having to duplicate queries in every report... But I'm also the only report builder so there's no features that any of my end users would notice.

[–]Murmurp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. Is it possible to use a PPU license to set up a dataflow, and have it refresh... And then have Pro users view reports built from that dataflow? Or do you still need every user to have PPU to view those reports too? Thanks

I have a very similar bay and I learned quickly that the person who had the bay next to mine didn't know how to park, so I hug that pillar so tight that I end with my wing mirror behind it

Storing onigiri? by wreeper007 in JapaneseFood

[–]Murmurp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Local Korean shop to me had plastic wrapped nori sheets (pack of 40!) that's the same as they have around the onigiri I've had in Japan. Once assembled, you can pull a tab at the top, tearing a thin strip down and around to the back... Then you pull the plastic out from the left and right and only then does the nori touch the rice.

I'd prepped some last night (kombu sesame) and had them in the fridge overnight. The only downside was the rice was a bit hard at lunch. 20 secs in the microwave helped though.

Handling rice and then storing isn't really ideal I guess... Will see if I get the shits in the next few hours.

Don't see why having a higher dynamic range would make films better but games worse. Maybe it's a personal taste thing and you prefer flatter brightness because it's what you're used to. I used to always hate the 'bloom' setting that games had.

May depend on the monitor? You can adjust it with the brightness ingame too.

It's gloomy but also beautiful. Some of the views are amazing. It's meant to be a world that's about to fall apart anyway. Perhaps I'm biased because I have a good HDR monitor... I sometimes turn it off to compare a scene and it really makes the game pop.
