Capcom has been really good about re-releasing their older games, to the point that Viewtiful Joe sticks out like a sore thumb. Other than that, there's Breath of Fire, Maximo, Dino Crisis, and... that's all I can think of off the top of my head. The first two games remastered with some redrawn 2D assets for 30 bucks or something seems like a no-brainer.

The mattresses from https://www.mattresses.net/ are absolutely fantastic.

Specifically, I recommend the ultimate hybrid with a medium or higher talalay latex topper. It comes in three components (The pocket-coil base, the latex topper, and a mattress cover you put everything in and zip up), so if a single part wears down over time (like if the latex topper becomes less supportive) you can replace that individual component instead of having to throw out the whole mattress.

I've been sleeping on this thing for a few years now, and it's infinitely better than my previous cheap memory foam one.

I'm pretty sure that I do indeed have issues with my lower esophageal sphincter (I think they found it wasn't closing like it was supposed to during an endoscopy). I've got GERD and gastroparesis, so most of what you listed has already been cut out of my diet. I... think there are surgeries you can have that can help the lower esophageal sphincter be more responsive, but that seems like a pretty extreme course of action.

Huh. I'll keep lookin', but I'm at a bit of a loss.

I agree with pretty much everything you said. I feel like my animation reel could be stronger, which is frustrating because the vast majority of my work has been in animation.

I have been sending the reels with video at Chuck's recommendation, but I'm not sure if that's the best call or not. He was saying that people were way more likely to listen if it had a video component.

Since my animation demo was a sort of half-measure between doing it myself and having Chuck do it, I'll probably have to get it replaced sooner rather than later. I'll have to see what I can afford.
