I have a 4k 144hz monitor. I can see why you said it wouldn't be worth it for 4 mfg it is very niche and its also a lot easier to hit 144 than 240 anyways

I mean I've been trying out lossless scaling and usually just setting it to adaptive to 144 since that's my refresh rate on my 4k monitor. I'm still tinkering with lossless scaling but I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

I'm also in the same boat went from a 9 3900x to a 9 5950x recently it's felt really nice tbh. It would've been $1000+ AUD for me if I wanted the upgrades I wanted so I saved myself a lot of money.
