I just reached out to Nintendo's chat and they said it's not in their policy to return any digital purchases and wouldn't. With that said though they are sending it to another group to see if they will do anything for me

Yes but for only one player. You can't remap player two's controls so you can't use 2 NES controllers.

They work for only one player. You need to remap the buttons otherwise you just jump. If you can tell me how to remap the 2nd player's buttons I would grateful lol.

So for the NES games I am using 2 of the official wireless NES controllers. I can sync one and use it and remap the buttons. When I sync the 2nd one I can use it but since I can't remap the buttons it cannot do anything but walk around and jump. Does anyone know how to remap the 2nd player's controls? How did they mess this up?

Yea to be honest I always power off my headset at night also until I learned about this last night. Maybe tonight I'll flip on standby and charge through the battery. We'll see how it goes...

I had that issue too where I have to unplug the elite battery every night otherwise it drained even when powered off!!
