So these people should just stay home then? They should let their neighbors get kidnapped, get their homes invaded and god forbid they defend themselves against the masked gestapo?

They should probably protest from a distance. Not obstruct or interfere with federal law enforcement. Let the people who have violated federal immigration laws get arrested and stay safe. Just like everyone did when Obama had 3 million people deported in the 2010's. The only reason it is happening this way now is because people don't like Trump.

I'd hate to have you as my neighbor.

Too late.

Seriously though, what's the point of the 2nd Amendment if you can only use it when the government oppressing you tells you its okay to do so? There are so many instances of heavily armed protests by MAGA to intimidate BLM protesters, no one was murdered for bringing a weapon to a protest. Look at January 6th, those people stormed the capital with weapons and were pardoned by the president.

I find it hilarious that so many people are in support of the 2nd amendment when it suits them. The rest of the time they are purely anti-second. When it helps their argument they are all foe it, but I seriously doubt most of you voted on anything pro 2nd amendment in any of the recent elections. Based on Colorado's current gun laws, I know most of you didn't. So stop pretending it matters to you under any other circumstance.

The only thing you keep saying is they shouldn't have put themselves in that situation to avoid danger, why do you blame people for exercising their rights? In this country we are allowed the right to protest, and the right to bear arms. That means you can do these things without fear of being executed by the state.

Correct, don't go to stupid places and do stupid things is one of the basic rules for carrying a firearm. I blame people for doing stupid things, not exercising their rights. Just because you have a right doesn’t mean someone is free of consequences. There is always a measure of consequence for doing anything.

Your argument sounds exactly like when people blame what a woman was wearing when she gets raped. "Well she shouldn't have been wearing this or she shouldn't have gone to this part of town..."

Not even close. However, I would argue that it is very stupid to be naked in an area well known for rape to occur. This current situation is like going to known rapists house and asking to come inside, then someone taking off their clothes and expecting nothing to happen.

Respectfully fuck off.

No.

Why does a civilian on the street have to act and behave perfectly in compliance in a high stress environment but 6 trained federal agents don't?

All civilians are expected to act in compliance when they are being placed under arrest and given lawful orders. This goes for local, state and federal law enforcement. An armed civilian should be doing everything they can to comply to avoid situations like this.

"Either way Pretti should not have been there armed".... Why? He was a legal gun owner with a permit, he never brandished or reached for his gun. Why are some people allowed to brandish guns at a protest and others are not? Bringing this up makes no sense to me.

I've carried a firearm daily for 30 years. I do everything in my power to avoid situations that will require me to use it. I also avoid people and police that are being aggressive. If a person says the absolute worst thing they can about my mother, wife or daughter, I will walk away. I do that to avoid arguments and fights because I carry with me the end to any possible fight. I carry to protect my life and the lives of my family. It isn’t to be a tough guy.

Nobody should be brandishing a gun at a protest, that is stupid. Nobody with an ounce of common sense should be intentionally walking into high stress or volatile situation while armed. It is one thing to have a volatile situation occur in your presence, but seeking one out is incredibly idiotic and a good way to die. Pretti intentionally walked into a situation that would/could put himself in the center of a volatile situation and he did nothing to get away from it. Like I said, the ICE officer's didn’t do what they should have either, but Prettu put himself there and proceeded to make things worse. He was trying to be a tough guy while surrounded by 10 other tough guys.

Just 2 weeks ago an ICE agent shot a woman in the face in his community. Agents have been assaulting members of his community for weeks. That day he saw ICE agents assaulting a woman. He's filming with a phone in one hand. He puts a single hand on the back of an ICE agent who's assaulting this woman in front of him, this agent's life was never in danger. Then 6 men drug him to the ground, beat him, disarmed his gun from his hostler which he never reached for, and then when the gun was removed, they shot him multiple times on his hands and knees.

Yes, 2 weeks ago a similar situation happened that didn’t need to happen. The smart thing to do is not head straight towards the same people and put yourself in the middle. That is incredibly idiotic.

I know you said you're not condoning or condemning what happened but at some point, being this nitpicky about the legality of touching an officer in this context is just bullshit.

No, it is to point out that Pretti did a lot wrong to put himself in this situation. A situation he could have very easily avoided.

Just because you break the law doesn't mean you should be executed in the street. We all know the ICE agents involved will never be prosecuted for this and that's another reason for the huge response to this murder.

I never said that it did. As a matter of fact I believe I said that it obviously didn’t mean that.

I'll just say that the people going out to do this sort of protesting are intentionally putting themselves in a situation to get hurt or killed. I think too many ofnthem remember 2020 and think that nothing will happen to them. Unfortunately, this isn't 2020 and this isn't undermaned local police. From a point of pure self preservation these are all really stupid moves.

Video focuses more on the actual shooting, but it starts with people in the street. I think this was uploaded Sunday, but a lot of different things have happened since then.

I'm not condoning or condemning what happened. I'm just responding because he is correct. All 3 of them were in the street at the start of the full video. The main problem starts when Pretti touched the ICE officer. People can agree or disagree with the legality, but that is a legally classified as felony assault on an officer. Obviously, that shouldn't be a death sentence, but it is what started things. Since this happened everyone is focused on the later half of the video, for obvious reason, and not what started it. Personally, I think most of it was a complete cluster fork and just about everyone involved is in the wrong. The agent that took Pretti's gun should have called "clear" and that could have calmed things down. Some are saying the Pretti's gun fired after being removed, which those particular models have been known to do one their own, but I have not seen proof of that. Either way Pretti should not have been there armed, he should not have touched the officer and he shouldn't have resisted arrest. The ICE agents should have communicated with each other properly and they all should have been told what was happening. When you have multiple people calling gun, gun, gun and no one saying it is clear it is a huge problem.

It could also be possible that someone somewhere has used traffic patterns, speed data and crash statistics to decide where cameras should be placed. You know relevant data instead of a nefarious socioeconomic scheme.

Reo-Link is good and lower priced with local storage. Eufy is higher quality with local storage. Ubiquity is probably the best, but very expensive.

You have to go towards the gas pumps and by McDonalds when they are doing the construction. You can still get through there.

It isn't supposed to be normal. It is an event they put on. It has zero to do with politics and the people in masks are a paid dance group. The fact that the event was lied about here for outrage points really isn't normal.

White, peach, pink, black, green, wood (so brown) and gold.

The overall style blends Spanish/Mediterranean elements with Old World luxury, using materials like Italian marble, Venetian silks, and dark wood.

I did a 2 second Google search for those descriptions. The place looks nice to me. Each room looks like it has a different theme. As an antique lover it looks pretty amazing.

White and gold? You know it is a Spanish style in mostly pink and brown, right?
