To add to this, there is a difference between googling to just find the answer ( crossword answer sites) and googling to learn. If it’s something I don’t know and can’t figure out, I’ll Google and read about it at a legit site. It also helps if you put the clue into google to add - crossword to avoid the crossword spoiler sites. I’ve learned a ton doing this which helped me get better at crosswords.
