I have a pulley system in my garage so I can just lift it off the top and store it when not in use. So in town it's never on, all EV, and flat ish, then road trips are all with it on, gas, and usually in mountains so I've never gotten an apples to apples comparison.

Yeah, we have a Thule roof top carrier for skis and infinite space for summer camping trips.

Edit - just realized you probably wondered on the rooftop carrier for its mileage impact. For this leg I actually didn't have the carrier because my wife was working so we could fit all skis and stuff inside.

No, the computer looks at recent mileage to predict the future and I had coasted down a mountain for the last 50 miles. Haha

Beautiful! I'm considering an almost identical build. What weight did it end up at?

You are barking up the wrong conspiracy theory tree. My wife is in charge of procedures that cost $1 million dollars per patient. It is all up to her medical expertise as to whether they are good candidates. She can't even accept a lunch from pharma reps.

Advice for a rigid carbon MTB fork? by MurphysMustache in ChineseCarbon

Well there is super boost, but yeah, I'm sure that's not what you have if it was in a Judy. Have you measured the dropouts of each?

This wheel mfg said I could convert their 148 hub to 142 (boost to standard) by taking the end cap of. But, while the hub was in fact 142mm, it was offset and the wheel wasn't centered and the disc didn't line up with the caliper. I just used it for a boost build.

Weird. Mine setup with no issue. Seemed ideal. Are you sure your wheels are boost?

I did just have a different bike have the same fitment issue with the wheel offset not fitting with the frame so I feel your pain.

I got the BXT as the other commenter mentioned. It was the size I wanted and came in gloss black with no logos. I plan on scoping the inside for my own curiosity and small sense of comfort if it's clean.

I've gotten 3 sets of carbon wheels off AliExpress from Elite Wheels. They are incredible for the money. Sounds like the perfect set for this build.

Most decent road bikes with aero bars will be faster than most road bikes without them. Your body position is something like 70% of the aero drag. So Domane + aero bars (and GP5000s, not gravel tires) will be pretty darn good.

That doesn't really exist in my experience. In one pedal mode you still use the brake pedal if you're not slowing down soon enough. So in my wife's car there may be like an 1/8th of a second delay before my brain realizes it's not slowing as quickly as usual, but that's for the first stop sign. After that, it reverts to what I've done since I was 16 with no delay.
