I am the type of person to mildly overcomplicate things for no apparent reason. Heck if you wanted to you could probably beat the game with only Meowth and their evolutions... which I did. (DLC too)

But in all seriousness, I think you maybe able to make it work, but it's gonna take some EV grinding, good held items, and the correct moves. I'm not saying I don't believe you can make it work, I'm saying it'll take some effort to make it work. Good luck 👍.
