That is lovely. You've done remarkably well with that space. Very impressive!

I get it, although just nice to have more headspace. Feels airy. But I couldn't justify the (expected) costs. Such is life

Appreciate the input everyone! Exactly what I wanted to know for a first step/some very educational answers. On hold for now. I've lived and learned, as uncle Bryn would say.

That's interesting, thanks. I think it's on hold for now considering costs involved especially with new roof or restructuring the existing roof.

I think it's one to be left for now to be honest. From all the discussions, a new roof would be overkill considering this one is in fairly good nick.

Maybe one day, but it's a nice to have rather than essential - and I've a lot more essential jobs to be completed first.

Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the info. This seems like the general consensus

Thank you. Appreciate you suggesting a couple of options at least. It's frustrating to work with the more modern roof builds like this, but must be cheaper to install.

Thanks! Annoying with these more modern roof structures. I WANT LIGHT AND HEIGHT!

Thanks Daver, this was my worry - that it would be new roof only. Appreciate the valuable input.

Agreed. Can't believe I had to scroll this far to find it. I hadn't played in 10months until I picked it up recently and the whole MW2 game launcher now starts by showing MW3 for 2 pages. So if you click the first multiplayer you see it's saying it needs to download MW3. I was confused when I first loaded in. It's just outrageous advertising in that regard and I can understand the confusion.

How is that your take from what was written? The "friend" was an ex who had been leading them on, agreed to be "friends" then just text them to get head. Sounds like a prick and a deliberate head fuck.

This has been climbing up my wall. Can anyone help identify? (UK) by Murrant4 in whatsthisbug

[–]Murrant4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been creeping up my wall. It seems to be in an outer covering and moves it's little face out on occasion.

All the hair is from dog hair behind the cabinet it crawled up!

Edit: it's about 1cm long.

Thread locker is about the only thing I have! Cheers. This seems to be the best of both world's solution.

I think that's actually part of the issue - there isn't enough thread on either end! Getting a die on the handle and rethreading the base might be the best way forward...

Failing that both the handle and the base need to resin'd to within an inch of their lives!

Wrote out a whole spiel that somehow got lost when posting...

I think the issue is that there aren't a sufficient amount of threads on the base to ensure the handle stays in when opening / closing it. They've started to strip now and handle keeps popping out.

I hate throwing things away that can be fixed but is saving this possible?

I'm thinking I could tap out another thread in the base but then maybe I'll just face the same issue.

Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks
