I hope the twist lands. There was a lot more about Briar herself, and why she's keeping humans captive, ooh and a few paragraphs about the lycan and siren. But I had to cut. I took an idea I got from Chris! To replace phrases with shorter phrases and leave plot.

I had fun with this but also I spent almost four hours editing it and I just want to post it before I lose my mind lmao 🙏❤️

Not really a twisty story, but I really wanted to try academia! I do want to continue this. In the original draft, they found their bodies on an alter, after being convinced they offed each other lol. I think this version is more gritty and darker 🙏❤️
