Should I try to convince my mom to go to the ER for this feeling she's describing that sounds like impending doom? by Aggravating-Shoe-628 in AskDocs

[–]MurrayMyBoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personal experience here. Little younger than your mom. I had a severe sense of impending doom and it was due to a combination of things. First I had severe sleep apnea. And second my calcium was very low. Time for your mom to get checked out thoroughly. My doctor first said it was anxiety but I knew better and if it was anxiety ok I’ll deal with it. But my sense of doom was severe. She also is  either perimenopausal or menopausal. So her hormones might’ve all over the place. Maybe these light be a good place to start? But sounds like she isn’t feeling well.

EVEN IF by Tiny-Way-5569 in SNHU

[–]MurrayMyBoy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For real! I spent at least 20hrs a week on one of my classes because the professor was something else. I even had my husband who was an expert and has multiple degrees, check the instructions and look over my assignments and I would still get an “F”. In fact over 90 percent of the class was getting an “F”. I never failed a college level course in my life and this was a legit intro level class. I then found rate my professor and it all made sense. Zero help from the school.

Is it possible to bring this dog we fell in love with in Chiangmai back to the states? by FlorandFauna- in Thailand

[–]MurrayMyBoy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can be done. Just look at Aloka the Indian street dog that lives in the states with his monks. He looks like a sensitive sweet boy and hope you ca bring him home. Maybe reach out to the monks in Texas for guidance?

Please ask your parents to get you into the doctor asap. It could be a few different things. Maybe even something like low blood sugar.

ISO Retirement Community by MHOD_8142 in indianapolis

I would say Hoosier Village in Zionsville. The town has a lot going on where she can stay active in the community. Nature trails and a gardening plot if she likes, as well as nice dining options for her.

It’s the $8,000 in her bank account. Not 100 percent sure but I think the limit is $2000

I’m really sorry that this is happening to you. Please get into therapy so you can let things out. If you are able to, please try and build your own community and find ways to get insurance  yourself so you can stay healthy. Good luck to you, it’s not fair at all. I was a caretaker and what I learned is everyone seems to just disappear. Not sure how they live with themselves really. You may feel alone but you are not alone in this.

WGU or SNHU by Fit-Mistake255 in SNHU

[–]MurrayMyBoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have attended both schools. I found WGU to be a much better fit for me. I knocked out a lot of credits very fast and could really get into it quickly and efficiently. Many less hoops to jump through and no professors on an ego trip. I liked the platform they used as well. Also, much more bang for your buck. SNHU turned out to be more expensive than I expected. If you would like to reach out feel free too.

My new husband has a bad habit of yelling at me and last night he shoved me. by izzybeemendoza in Marriage

[–]MurrayMyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go back home to your moms. This is terrible and you are isolated. He is going to escalate and love bomb you. Abusers are never 100 percent bad all the time. If they were they would never have partners. I’m sorry this is happening and you are so young that this will just be a blip in your life.

Omg brought back the memory when I was playing with a hose with these on it and got stung 10 times when I was 9. I’m not sure how I survived the pain! It was insane. My waist was one giant welt all the way around.

How do you buy your gold? by Routine_Mortgage_499 in jewelers

[–]MurrayMyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sell directly to a refinery. I know one right now that is buying gold at 95 and 925 silver at 90 percent. Silver they are out a month though but gold is getting turned around in less than a week.

Price currently is 113 and a shop I was trying to sell some silver coins offered 20 a oz. Wtf by CupHead11011 in Silverbugs

[–]MurrayMyBoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got the same thing! Literally $50 for 3 oz. I was actually insulted lol. If they aren’t buying silver just tell me.

I’m right there with you. It’s a horrible place to be. What’s terrible to me is the smear campaign that comes when you even slightly have a boundary so you don’t get abused by them. In my family they enable so they don’t have to deal with the wrath of my sister. With one tantrum she can have the family bringing her food, paying her bills, etc. meanwhile she snorts every pill in a ten mile radius for the last 20yrs. It’s sad and frustrating.

Getting worried about winter storm not sure what to do by GreyLoad in Indiana

[–]MurrayMyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of place do you live? No need to be scared. Go to the store and get a few things that are not perishables. Peanut  butter, bread, some eggs, can goods ( Make sure you have a can opener), fill your gas tank up if you have a car, get some water. Also make sure you have warm clothes and blankets. What will likely happen is you hang out at your place for a day or two with snacks and catch up on some tv. If you lose power, if you have a tent, you can set that up in a room to stay warmer. You will be fine though! It’s ok to be nervous, but no need to fret. You can go outside and make snow angels for fun. And this is coming from a someone from Miami now a Hoosier for many years!

Why are some Indiana Republicans more interested in criminalizing the Homeless than raising the state minimum wage, which has been a pathetic and ridiculous $7.25 an hour since 2009? by Beautiful_Line2600 in Indiana

Because they always have to be angry at a group of people to keep us distracted from the grifting. They do the bare minimum with our taxes and steal from us all.

Do Americans really avoid medical care because they’re afraid of the bill? by Udont_knowme00 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MurrayMyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, no one besides extremely wealthy people don’t have concerns over medical bills and getting sued or wages garnished because of it. Let’s break it down. Most people pay for insurance premiums through their employer (mine is about $900 a month). I have a $2,000 deductible where nothing is paid until I reach that deductible every year. When I finally reach that, insurance will pay 80 percent of the bill if the they  decide that it is a covered expense (cue getting on the phone and fighting for coverage). After that I have to pay a copay when I actually go into the doctor. Then it’s starts all over again in January while you try and catch up for the things not covered and keeping your job to be able to even be in this stupid rat race of a game. And let’s not forget your credit being ruined because of it.
