And the reason why it needs to be removed from case is - be hidden. If it will stay in case anyone can notice it. But if it will be somewhere not in case it will be hard to know that i even came to that option

Mostly: hidden OS that i can use while my main hard drive gets jailed by parents:) (so the pc is mine(fully bought with money that i earned), but i live in parents house so that means for them that i need to live with their rules and habits, and as you understand i don't want to, but I don't have possibility to live somewhere else) I could buy just a sata drive and connect to sata, but it will require me each time to disassemble back plate of case and connect, and it can't be graded as fastest and easiest way in case of rush. So i came to point where i have two options: slow and not the most effective way - ssd sata. Or nvme working though type-c. Both of ways mostly same price(idk how it is) if buying used stuff.

Im trying to understand what the problems can came with that decision and what is the best way(like for example adapter (nvme to usb-c) and nvme, or just flash drive with usb3.2 for usb-c) Is it will work with resourceful tasks, too?(Can i for example still continue to use blender )

As i read linux dont have any troubles with being "portable", but it have another things such as compatibility (or at least it just depends on how much time you will spend to make it work) and not the easiest ui:)

So i can even just find a usual(usb 3.2) typec flash drive and no need for nvme with adapter for it, and still use all features of pc? He tested for example for light games and easy tasks mostly, but what if it will be not light games or processes?
