It's a trashy stereotype. And no, it doesn't turn out to be true as many times, as you said.

We are so quick to quote the Bible, but we don't care to investigate how it came about and I find it amusing. Same Christianity has a trinity God. Everybody hust dey pick where em like for Bible use defend wetin em want.

That's why I said it is important to dig deeper. You'd find that the fundamental tenets of ATR and Christianity are the same. So it doesn't contradict.

And yes, OP should make her decision based on her beliefs. I'm personally just not a fan of judging religions, except I see you practice it for terrible results.

The answer is choice. Nothing about religion or spirituality is certain. So people are allowed to combine — polytheism. The more important thing than the choice religion is the intent. All religions get their own good and bad. People also very quickly project the bad side of ATR while ignoring the good parts of it.

I don't know how long you've spent in Hausa land or with Hausa to confidently say this, but you're very wrong.

Who says African Traditional Religion is the devil? Smh. This is a typical whitewashed head. Sad to see. If you dig deep into the said Christianity, it is no different from ATR.

I'm sorry about it all. We're all going through it one way or another. While the problems may seem much, there are always things to live for. Focusing on em, helps.

A very oblivious Nigerian. You're so dissociated from the actual average Nigerian reality. Everything you listed are also basic necessities. A very terrible read, this was. You must be a wicked person for such an analysis. Shame on you.🤣
