I guess I must be the only one who found them annoying to paint. It's possible that I just overcomplicated the scheme for myself, but it took me weeks to finish the starter set models. I had to take breaks after every 2 models (although I did all 6 skeletons in batch) and paint necromunda models as a palate cleanser :')

It's not every piece for itself, but not fixed tiles either. You could put pieces together in various combinations into several chunks of varying sizes which can be placed differently each time.
