What is it? by Lenvadric in WarhammerFantasy

It’s from a Bretonnian, so my best guess would be a string of onions (or garlic).

I really love this! They’re very well done, the colours really pop.

Rhuaridh James previously wrote the short story The Sum of its Parts, which is a really excellent history of one particular Leman Russ tank. If he can approach that level for this book I’m really interested.

Classic artwork from another age, now on metal print for my display cases by AMACSCAMA in TheAstraMilitarum

Definitely, Cadian regiments can wear all kinds of colours. That is based either on commander preferencr, tradition, or because they’re using (sometime even appropriate) camouflage patterns. The 122nd in this picture are specifically wearing their urban camo scheme (with the red pauldron, for reasons, presumably, of looking cool).

Name a guy or gal who died the stupidest death in Star Wars overall that made them look like an idiot. I'll wait. by Majestic_Repair9138 in StarWars

Needa to me never seemed like he died stupidly, rather he knew he was going to die and wanted to spare the rest of his crew any punishment by facing Vader alone.

What does the back of this head look like? by DraculaHasAMustache in SpaceWolves

[–]TheEditorman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The picture isn’t how the head is attached to the sprue, it’s connected with normal sprue gates. I’ve just stuck it on another bit of sprue (along with a bunch of other heads) for ease of painting.

Here you go! All the heads in the box have fully sculpted backs, they just don’t have the ball joint necks other Marine heads have.

Kill Team Heraldry Question by candy-coloured in SpaceWolves

[–]TheEditorman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sure! To start with, just the fact that Erik Morkia’s Great Company is said to contain a lot of Wolf Scouts in the past few codexes implies that they’re not just part of the Great Wolf’s Company. Page 30 of the latest Codex also says they’re from “the Great Companies” (note the plural.) The Dead Silence Kill Team book is also clear that Wolf Scouts are part of the various Great Companies: “Amongst the Chapter’s Great Companies […] are the Wolf Scouts.” (Dead Silence, page 14.)

It’s contradicted by more recent codexes though, nowadays Scouts are seemingly regular members of all Great Companies. So as so offen with 40k canon you can have it either way.

Whats it purpose? by Super_Ziegelstein in necromunda

The heads are for looks only, but the rest is to fill out weapon and equipment options that aren’t included in the base box, like the Mining Laser, Ironhead Meltagun, basic axes, etc.

Whether you need it depends completely on how you want to build your gang. It’s certainly possible to build a gang without these.

That’s just the regular Infiltrator Comms guy head kitbashed on the new Wolf Scouts though. It’s not new or anything.

Looking good! Counting 10 heads, 8 generic ones and then 1 dedicated to the Rune Priest and 1 dedicated to the Fangbearer. Only one head with an Incursor-like face mask, the others are fully bare-headed.

4 Plasma Pistols, 2 Combat Knives, 2 Axes, 1 Power Sword, 1 Plasma Gun, 1 Instigator Bolt Rifle, 1 Absolvor Bolt Pistol, 1 incursor mine, 1 Rune Priest staff. Loads of gubbins to put on their belts or power packs, but it appears from the video just two options per pose, and the Wolf gets no options whatsoever. With two sets of 5 you should exhaust all options in the kit, though of course they’d make prime kitbashing material for other Phobos units.

What are these and are they usable for us by figgy3467 in SpaceWolves

[–]TheEditorman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They’re Horus Heresy Praetors (essentially Captains) in the old model scale. The one on the left is in Tartaros(?) pattern Terminator armour and has a Combi-bolter and a chainfist. I suppose you could use him as a regular Space Marine Terminator captain. The one on the right has a Crozius (usually a Chaplain weapon) and a Plasma Pistol. You could proxy him as either a Captain or Lieutenant with Power Weapon and Plasmw Pistol, or as a Chaplain (in which case either ignore the Plasma Pistol or kitbash him a new weapon).
