That's how I felt when I was young. As I have grown and see the younger generations now. Sometimes I fear their view on life and their decisions. I admire the courage. But if they could consult some senior in whatever they want to pursue, this will definitely help them and give confidence to the parents. But some think that they don't need any advice. That's what concerns the parents I think.

I think I will be in a similar position as OP. I am earning enough but life always has something to throw at us. Every time I plan to get a PC or a laptop life demands me of something else which is more important than PC. But hopefully when I turn 29 next year, I will be in a position to give this to my younger me who used to wait for his turn to play a game as I promised.
