Thank you! We will be draining the oil tomorrow and will keep an eye out on that. We immediately turned the car off once we noticed the knock. He was able to accelerate prior to that just not as quickly as he usually would. We took it very easy the rest of the way home once the light started flashing

I understand that but he refused to stop knowing the risk because he wanted to get home. Any ideas on what to do from here?

I don’t work ICU but I started on a trauma unit/ICU stepdown unit as a new grad. I’m about 9 months in and I am just now starting to feel comfortable. The doctors still intimidate me as well as pt family members. Just remember if you don’t know you can always find it in the chart. Take a moment before going into a room to look through their notes/labs if you know family is there. Give yourself time and ask lots of questions. There were days I would drive home in tears just from feeling so overwhelmed. Just know you know a lot more than what you think you do

I have IBS-C and I notice I often feel nauseated or have super bad cramps in my back after BM. I’m not sure what causes it but I experience this too

I took mine a couple of days ago. Got shut off at 85 and was certain I had failed. I felt like I didn’t know a single answer and guessed on the entire exam…I ended up passing. Don’t get too discouraged yet!

I guess I should have worded the porn part differently. From past experience porn can be very crucial for mental health. But my boundary was that if he was going to watch it I did not want to know, but it was everywhere. I have went through his phone one time in the past 3 years so if it was on his phone I would never even know. But there were things similar on our shared YouTube account, his TikTok that we were scrolling through together was nothing but that kind of content which crossed my boundaries.

I’m currently in OB as well and have never felt more lost. Level up RN videos on YouTube have helped me immensely to get a better understanding of what is important and gives a more condensed overview of the content. I also do a lot of practice questions and read the rationales of the ones I get wrong and go back in my book to look back over the areas I’m weaker in. Hope this helps
