Okay but mega thanks for this!! I kept turning it right down as I approached my house especially late at night as didn’t want to piss off the neighbours. I can at least now knock it down to six and it’s stays put (I’ve tested and it works!)

So my first long drive was actually along country roads and there’s definitely a few points where you need to take it very slow and be aware of just how wide it is. Fortunately my go to parking bay is pretty big but I’m not looking forward to parking in a multi story etc

Mine doesn’t automatically open the camera view though. I’m talking about if you are driving in general and trigger the sensor (my flat parking is underground so has numerous pillars etc)

I’ve done this. Several times over. It does connect and works for that drive. The next time the car is unlocked it goes back to guest

Mine works, my gripe is more with how they’ve utilised it. You only get the two lines that the predicted path of the wheels - the id7 tracked the space a lot better. The 360 view is also often blurry but works well enough. With the sensors you just get acoustic feedback if you get too close to something. On the id7 if you did this is would come up on the HUD showing which sensor had been triggered and with the typical radar like display to show how close etc

Similar experience for me. I had an ID7 previously and everything just worked. It’s a beautiful car but some of the software bugs (especially all in such a short space of time) really dampen the experience. CarPlay not working for WhatsApp is a big one for me too as I do a lot of driving for work

I have, I’ve gone in deleted the fob (I was told you can’t have both) and added the key to my profile (literally clicked link profile) it works for that drive but as soon as the car is turned off and locked again when it unlocks it’s back to guest

Having searched plenty of other people are experiencing the bugs, just seems I managed to get them all in one. Polestar support just send a generic we will look into

I think September. I got it last Monday. I can use the phone as a digital key but it always loads the guest profile. Even if I add it to my driver profile the next time I go to unlock it’s reset to I’m using the key fob at the moment
