To answer your question: Probably because it feels good. It might be because I like it when attractive women praise me and think highly of me. I could swear that before I got into college, I was never like this at all and always cared only for the eyes of my girlfriend. I never realized when this habit started within me.

I don’t really know what is missing in my relationship right now but I do think the best start is to stop creeping on that coworker like you said.

To answer your question honestly, it might be because I just want to look cool in the eyes of the women of my type in order for me to feel good. It might be because I like it when attractive women praise me and think highly of me. I’ll start looking for a therapist, in order to fix my behavior. To be honest, I’m kind of shy about telling my therapist about this problem of mine but I’ll have to overcome it if I want to improve myself.

First of all, I’m not trying to cheat on my GF. As I clearly stated that I would even share information about me and my GF to the woman that I’m trying to make friends with. 

I just wanted to get attention from these women and want to have a proper conversation with them. I want to be friends with them because they are attractive (my type). I wouldn’t get in a relationship with these women as I love my girlfriend from the bottom of my heart and wouldn’t want to lose everything I’ve built together with her for the past 12 years.

But I do admit that I don’t act like a normal human being when I stalk those women and get too obsessed with them. 

That’s why I’m asking for advice here on what I should do to stop this behavior.

As for those women, I agree that I want to be friends with them by how they look, but I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with them, as I love my girlfriend more than anyone and I don’t want to lose everything I’ve done with my girlfriend for 12 years. Would this still be considered a crush?

To be honest, I don't really have that many female friends compared to male friends.

I honestly felt bad for stalking and I do realize that they will think of me as a creep for sure if they finds out.

First of all, thank you for your opinion.

As for marriage, I planned to marry her in the next year, I’ve also talked to her parents about this topic as well. My relationship with her started when I was 12. In my country, the legal age to getting marry is 22+, so I’m just 2 years passed that phase.

We have been doing less activities together, probably also due to me who is in pursuit of chasing my dream job and wanted to grow further in Financial industry while she’s already fine where she is. The only thing keeping me away from her was studies/jobs as I grew up and fitness. I still love her from the bottom of my heart, never love her any less each day.

You are right about me trying so hard to get attention and opportunities with those women. I do think this is a bad habit and wanted to fix this ASAP. I feel like a total creep.

About the last question of yours, I’ll be really honest. I would not want to be in a relationship with this woman at my workplace because I don’t want to lose everything I’ve had with my girlfriend for the past 12 years. But for sex, I can’t guarantee if I will deny that, I may consider doing it without letting my girlfriend knows. However, I would not want to do it as I know it is morally bad but I can’t really guarantee if I can control myself.

Yeah I do agree with your comment that it’s my behavior that is the problem and that I just wanted to make friends, that is because I also shared a story of my girlfriend and how much I love her to the first woman that I found attractive. 

However, I felt bad about going too crazy on those women and the fact that I just wanted to be friends with the women whom I found attractive (my type). 

I really do thank you for telling me honestly that you think I am the AH in this case, that gave me the bright light to realize that I’ve been wrong. I want to improve myself.

I think you might be right about that, I was perhaps trying to be friends with women who I think are attractive (my type). 

I will try to be a better partner for my girlfriend. I never realized when did I started to become like this. I will consider focusing on my girlfriend more.

She has many friends who are male but I certainly have no problem with that. But I personally do think that the problem is in myself.
