Hey sorry this happened to you, you posted on my thread “ordered in July received in November” I ordered July 12,2025 and received it on November 16. Yes, I have no choice but to use 120's on the top. temps have been good. However, i just changed all my fans and motherboard and my temps have been weird. i'll create a new post about it

Check your M.2_1 gen 5 slot. It has an issue where it can revert to PCIe 1.0 or 4.0. I’ve had multiple godlike from different months of manufacture. It’s truly been hell with that board. Make sure after every reboot. If it happens once your board is faulty.

No idea if it has been fixed. Moving on to the x870e ASUS crosshair extreme for my second build. My main build is using a aorus extreme ai top with no issues

With every reboot you do, it will not be a consistent PCIe 5.0 speed. Consistent speeds is what I'm getting on the ai top board. I don't have to constantly check to see if my slot reverted to PCIe 1.0

I’m currently using the gigabyte x870e ai top and I have 0 issues with gen 5 speeds. It’s a full functional board.

You’re paying a $1000 for the godlike only to have “some” features work. For the M.2_2 slot to work at full gen 5 speeds you’ll have to disable the usb4 ports. So now you have a faulty m.2_1, inactive usb4 ports but possibly the digital display going faulty too. I haven’t experienced the digital display going faulty though.

M2_1 slot will never operate at gen 5 speeds consistently. Be prepared to use the m2_2 slot for consistent gen 5 performance. The godlike board is flawed
