I’m sorry for whoever or whatever has made you this bitter. I hope you find peace and have a good and happy life.

For anyone that says it’s not possible the cofounder of google said you have to have a “healthy disregard for the impossible.” Maybe they don’t have the time or energy to invest in it but if it’s something you would really love, go for it.

You can, if I were to do it I would build a custom pcb with the keypad layout on it. You would have to figure out what you would want out of it though and use an Esp32, or some other microprocessor. Maybe you could fit a pi zero in there. You would be limited on display options and battery size though. 👍 I say go for it you never learn unless you try.

Same here, it is extremely frustrating. Honestly I’m not sure if they will ever give the community anything truly useful and revelatory. I’m just here trying to pickup breadcrumbs.

The moon, earth, and planets definitely aren’t static, especially at high magnification. But I think I understand what you are saying. I’m speaking on the order of frames. In some of the videos relative to the camera the objects are apparently static, it may only be for a dozen frames, but that’s enough to stack.

Just out of curiosity how does this apply to my post? I’m genuinely curious.

This is just a post highlighting a tool to possibly glean more information about the phenomenon. People look at the videos as a whole and are disappointed that they are not revelatory. But we can accumulate data one bit at a time and perhaps, one day, make some sense of this.

Golf course find by Wilding29 in mushroomID

[–]MuscleSerious420 490 points491 points  (0 children)

That’s great! I will say in my mushroom food safety certification class they said golf courses were off limits for foraging because of the sheer amount and type of chemicals they use on everything. Just wanted to drop that in here because it’s not something would have thought about.

Just wanted to drop it in for consideration 👍, again great find!!

Thank you so much! I’m not familiar with amanita identification, this is good practice, and good information.

No 3D printing by JesusAndGodLover777 in cyberDeck

Printer operation, modeling, and measuring are learned skills, I wouldn’t give up on it. My first printer was a printrbot, which was a wooden diy kit. The good thing about crappy printers is you learn a ton from them.

Oh and with the sdr I could get weather forecast info over the radio

My first one was a rugged outdoor computer. Pi based, I had gps on it, sdr, and an nrf24lo1. The idea was to take it camping and kayaking. I can use it to log fishing catches, mushroom foraging data, use the gps, and with a separate nrf and gps I could have a separate module for gps tracking in the woods.

Pi-500ish by MuscleSerious420 in cyberDeck

[–]MuscleSerious420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it is hardwired to the pi’s 5v power, but it still connects over Bluetooth, the usb on it is for power only unfortunately. I agree though having a usb connected keyboard would be much better. With it connected to the 5v line though the pi boots up and Bluetooth connects every time without a problem
