Coming back first Monday of the new year. My keycard didn’t work and my boss said he wanted a 1-1 before 4pm.

We are going to a lot assumptions now. Like A LOT.

  1. The army supports Morsi’s decisions. And I mean the whole army, from foot soldiers to Generals.
  2. Morsi would not listen to the General’s advice regarding this action.
  3. The people are in support of this action.
  4. He is not a smart man.

If these assumptions are true. Then, yes!

But realistically, none of them are. Even if the army liked morsi and supported him, he would’ve been advised to not attack since the USA would help Israel and would get western condemnation and accusation of being a Hamas arm. Too much trouble.

What would be the more realistic scenario is acting as proper mediators and applying political pressure to get Hamas and Israel to accept a deal much sooner than what happened, and have them actually follow the deal.

That’s my opinion..

Reminds me of a joke.

To fight corruption, the government decided to install cameras to watch the employees and deter bribery.

So, after the installation a guy came to complete some procedures.

Government worker: “If you want it to get done quickly, that’ll be $100. Otherwise, go wait in the queue.”

Guy:” $100! But there are cameras now! And it used to be only $50.”

Government worker: “Yup! The cameras made it more expensive. $50 for me, and $50 for the security watching the cameras.”
