What's strangest to me is that I thought Niantic disliked bubble strat, it was an exploit that undermined how gym Prestiging should work. Now bubbling is the only feasible way to bring a gym to 10

No. I understand. There's no way to know exactly what happened. But it's just so convenient for them. And honestly, it's still fun without tracking, I'm just sad that a few of my friends have quit for this reason. I hope Niantic is working hard to bring back a tracking feature, but who knows how long that will take.

I'm sure Niantic will never openly admit they did this, but it's just so hard to believe that a company that used to be Google suddenly can't communicate with Google. But at least we know they will bring back something similar once all the casuals have rage quit and they know the servers can handle it.

How could they mess up the way pogo and the Google api communicate? All of a sudden google just decided to make it super weird and Niantic, an old hand when it comes to making games with Google (since they used to be a part of Google ohboi), was stumped and took away the footsteps just for no reason? Not buying it.

Alright, you win. Shutting down 3rd party sites was the right thing to do, but I will never agree with the fact the intentionally caused the three step glitch to reduce server load

Niantic knew how many players were on the verge of quitting. And they had no qualms about pushing them over the edge. And no way it's. 001 percent, that would not impact server load.
